About Mary
Mary has been sewing since she was 5 years old, more than 50 years - following in the footsteps of her mother. Originally from Manchester England. She has been in America since 1971, has 5 children - and one beautiful granddaughter.
Mary can copy from any photo, or a drawing - she is very artistic, and loves a challenge. Sewing is her art form.
She currently runs her own sewing business - Rosemary Designs from her studio in Huntington Beach, and also works a couple of days a week in a prominent Orange County Wedding Gown salon to make custom items, repair, and restore wedding gowns, etc.
Mary has many couture specialties, beading, applique, and hand sewing. Even custom dyeing lace to match the wedding gown- being most of her specialties. She only sews in all things 'Bridal' She loves making wedding gowns, and re-making mother of the bride gowns.
